Welcome to Lilydale Alpacas

Located on the Mid North Coast of NSW, Lilydale Alpacas is a boutique breeder running a herd of 50 quality animals.

Our mission is to continuously improve the genetics of the herd, focusing on:

  • Temperament - we spend lots of time handling the cria and weanlings so they are easy and pleasurable to handle in adulthood
  • Conformation - only breeding from robust animals with sound bone structure
  • Fleece quality - fine fleece with a soft handle, sound crimp, and high density

Alpacas have a natural array of colours, and we cherish that diversity; our paddocks are alive with white, fawn, brown and black alpacas for sale.

Feel free to arrange a farm visit. We can walk you around our offerings, with no pressure to buy. Come and enjoy the scenic beauty of Warrell Creek.

About Us

John and Kerin's farm, Lilydale, is something of a menagerie: 50+ alpacas, a standard poodle, two burmese cats, four chooks, seven geese, and 21 Koi.

Before escaping the city, John was General Manager of Product Development for a global software company. John still provides consulting services in IT project strategy, Business Process Improvement, and Change Management.

Kerin's many years in WIRES equips her well for animal husbandry and care. Her studies with the Department of Primary Industries has permitted us to run so many alpacas on just 10 acres.
